I’ve intentionally lost weight before, but only like 10-15 pounds max. After 4-5 weeks of intense effort, I would once again lose focus until my pants got a too tight or I got surprised in the dressing room and didn’t like how I looked.
If I’m going to be a healthy weight again… it’s not gonna be a blitz this time.
It’s going to be over 6 months of consistency and persistence. I’m grateful for the extended period of time to actually do a deep dive on health, nutrition, and fitness and experiment on a weekly basis to see what works for me. And it’s much more likely I’ll maintain healthy habits + “fitness consciousness” beyond the 6 months 💪🏼
